Privacy and tracking disclosure

Canada Air Comfort Lab has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no comments and no phone or email capture. We do use affiliate links, Google Analytics and one third-party tracking pixel. This page explains each one and what it may receive.

Amazon.ca affiliate links

Canada Air Comfort Lab is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme. Product links to Amazon.ca carry our Associates tracking ID aircomfortlab-20. When you click one, Amazon may set cookies in your browser so it can credit a purchase to us. Amazon handles that data under its own privacy notice; we never see your name, address or what you bought. A commission does not change the price you pay. Some Made-in-Canada picks link directly to the maker (Dupray or AllerAir), and those sites have their own privacy policies.

Google Analytics

Every page loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-PBD2G905GL). It uses cookies to count visits and to show which pages are read. When you click an outbound shop link, we also record an event with the link name, the destination URL, the page you were on and where the link sat on the page. Google receives your IP address and browser details to do this. We use these reports only to see which guides help readers; we do not use them to identify you.

To opt out, use your browser’s tracking or cookie controls, a content blocker, or Google’s Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Surface Injector tracking pixel

Five pages load an invisible 1×1 image from a third-party service called Surface Injector, at https://nova-otter-delta-cloud.grok.me/px/fctqxeuv:

When your browser loads that image, the Surface Injector server may receive your IP address, the address of the page you were on, your browser and device details, and the time of the visit. It is used to count visits to those pages. Blocking third-party images or using a content blocker stops it from loading. The other pages on this site do not load it.

Google Fonts

Our headings and body text use fonts served by Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address and browser details when a page loads.
